I’m a licensed therapist and anxiety specialist, and in this course I draw from more than a decade of experience treating anxiety disorders to teach you my signature three step approach to conquering panic attacks:

After spending several lessons exploring the function of anxiety and the symptoms of panic attacks, we dive into concrete tools you can implement into your life today in order to lessen the intensity of your panic attacks in the future (and in some cases, to avoid them altogether)

Over the next several lessons I teach you concrete coping skills that you can use during a panic attack to ride the wave of panic, and come out the other side unscathed. All of the techniques are backed by evidence and scientifically proven to help regulate your nervous system quickly and effectively. With these techniques, you’ll never have to feel paralyzed about what to do during a panic attack ever again.

The third key step in conquering panic attacks is learning how to rest your nervous system and recover emotionally and physically after an attack. With my help, you’ll be able to process your panic attacks in a way that helps you move past them quicker (without fear) and that allows you to better prepare for them in the future.

AMY DI FRANCIA
Amy is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California (LMFT 105646) with over a decade of experience treating anxiety and panic disorders. She meets with clients in her own private practice, and works as a clinical supervisor, training the next generation of therapists. She also spent several years as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University.
Amy’s calm demeanor and fascination with the inner workings of the brain and nervous system made anxiety a natural speciality for her. She is passionate about teaching others to understand the way anxiety functions in their brain and bodies, and to overcome the hold that anxiety and panic have on their lives.
Amy has received additional certifications in Applied Neuroscience for Treating Anxiety, Panic, and Worry and Attachment-Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (AF-EMDR).
